Headlands Sunday Supper | June 2025
When
Sunday, June 29, 5–8PM
Where
Headlands, The Mess Hall
Will you join us for supper? Experience an evening at Headlands through the lens of Artists. Gather in our historic, artist-renovated Mess Hall and share a seasonal family-style meal prepared by Headlands’ Chef, Damon Little. Your seat at the table helps sustain our mission of supporting artists and creative exchange. Bring a friend, make more, and be a part of our growing community.
Join us on June 29 for a live performance by DaEun Jung and a participatory installation by Jody Wood, followed by Supper in the Mess Hall. We will spend around 30 minutes with each artist.
Jakdu: Contempolytemporal Dance (working title) is a solo dance that traces multilayered movement roots of DaEun Jung’s body. Continuously shape-shifting while defining each moment, this solo fast-forwards the thousand-year codification process of classical Korean dance idioms, reverts stylized movements to her (ancestors’) everyday actions, defines contem-poly-temporal body memories of the self and communities, and ultimately takes the dancing body to somatic ecstasy.
Jody Wood prototypes her new project, Know-How: Incurable, a participatory installation using remedies for breath and mobility. The project will be facilitated by Jody Wood, Karen Orberdorfur, LMFT, and Cynthia Stephan, AMFT, APCC.
